Lea received her master’s in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. Her core focus is working with young adults and their guardians. Lea enjoys navigating topics of self-esteem, self-identity, self-awareness, communication skills, transitional periods, depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, family dynamics, and culture. Lea speaks fluent Spanish and comes from a Hispanic culture and hopes to give back to her community and continue to show the importance of mental health within it. Sessions with Lea include the provision of a good and safe environment where children and teens are able to self-reflect and find the answers they seek. Lea understands that children and teens are currently apart of a fast-paced society, she hopes for her clients to experience what it’s like to slow down, process, and heal in her sessions; something our society currently doesn’t seem to prioritize.
